MBody You

Mary Beth is a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Lafayette, Louisiana.   She received her bachelors in Kinesiology (minors in Business and Psychology) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University.  After working for a year in various settings in her hometown, she moved to Cincinnati to complete an orthopedic residency in Cincinnati Children's sports department.  While continuing to work in Cincinnati, she became a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy and treated dancers backstage and on tour for So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars.  

Mary Beth founded MBody You so that she could pursue her passion in treating clients holistically, empathetically, and with the most clinically relevant care.  She is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science and has treated a wide variety of recreational, pre-professional, and professional athletes, ranging from 6 year old soccer players to an NBA player.  Mary Beth has presented research involving second ACL injury at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting and has written case studies on returning to dance post-injury and post-operatively.
